Certainly with online drafts, I think that the "Drafting with..." articles, while useful, have been done. I would love to see some of the types of things listed above... What is being played a lot? Cards shifting in value as the format plays out? lessons on forcing a certain archetype per format?

In terms of Finkel... well there seems like a lot of possible material there. Even ignoring all of the "what crazy amazing thing is Finkel winning with" possibilities, anything regarding who is hot/not, what is being played in that metagame, what stories come out of it - seems like a very fertile ground for more silly/creative posts.

While interesting or funny occurences are always good, their is a lot of information that can come from drafts:

1) What archetypes win frequently or don't win very often (and is it the result of a certain subset of players who perform similiarly and simply prefer that archetype - i.e. is it the archetype or the player).
2) Underrated and overrated cards.
3) Common runs.

I'm certain that there is other useful information to be had, but I've gotten the ball rolling off the top of my head.

In terms of Magic Online drafting, I personally am only semi-interested in that. I guess including things like strategies that tend to be popular online, pick tendencies, and success stories would be good. The most important thing in my mind would be not turning that part into just another draft walkthrough that seem to dominate the limited article landscape these days...

I think that the Finkel Draft stuff could be a lot of fun to read about (or podcast about...) seeing as how there is the added element of a lot of Magic icons/players/whatevers (past and present) that participate in those. I think including some stuff about how the drafts came about and what exactly goes on in them would be sweet. I'm not sure how many people share my view on this, but one of the cooler things about Magic as a game is that it has a rich and fairly well-known history behind it, so getting a peek into a semi-casual environment that includes a lot of those players as well as folks we may not know about has a large amount of appeal to me.
