In reference to the possibility of a dredge combo based on Mind Funeral: it targets opponents, so it’s a no go. I got very excited until I read the card more carefully.
Mind Funeral = target OPPONENT. Unfortunately (or fortunately..)

Guess mind funeral will just be sanity grinding 5-8 in Standard.
It is probably still a good card in vintage, where decks play so few lands. Could definitely see getting a mind funeral off in vintage for almost half a deck.
