Excellent choice of articles to put in a podcast frame. I was just reminiscing to myself a few days ago about how you guys used to do these, and I was very satisfied to relive this article. Thanks for the great listen, Mike!

Is it just me, or do Mike and Brian's voices seem to be just slightly sped up on the last few casts? Am I hearing things? Are they talking faster? Or is the speed being artificially enhanced in order to make the casts shorter and earier to download?

Ditto on what starwarer said regarding volume. With my mp3 player cranked to the max, this was barely a whisper. (Then I switch back to music and blow my eardrums out because I forgot to lower it back.)

The last one, the BDM interview, was bad too, particulary Brian's speaking parts. But here, Mike's usually-clear voice was muted because his reading tone is different from casual speech.

So please, double or triple the volume output. We can always adjust lower but do have maximums. However, the content as very good to here. A classic article and listening vs reading helps it to be absorbed differently.

While I enjoyed listening and liked the content, I had two gripes:
1) the 4th podcast on the iTunes feed was a double of the 3rd podcast - I wound up listening to it on this site, after having listened to the 5th. Not ideal.

2) the volume was incredibly low on these. I had to turn my volume all the way up, and still had trouble hearing Mike if there was any sort of noise around me. This is either an EQ problem, or Mike needs to get closer to the mic.

Hope to see more of these go up.

As I mentioned to you the last time we spoke, this article still has some of the best points I've heard anyone make, Mike. Hopefully people will get as much value out of this article as I have.
