It’s a little hard to be sure without being able to see the situation in game 1 but it sounds like he had “blue” up at 8 on your attack when you windborne charge and alpha strike. He could have had lethargy trap thus equip dude with gear and swing with just the 2 windborne charged dudes and still get in for 8+. May have misunderstood the gamestate though.
