Mis-Mocking Through Standard Part 4

Mike Flores, myself and about two dozen other Magic players descended on a previously Magic friendly deli in midtown Manhattan this week to put the new Standard format through its paces. The goal was to run a four round Mock Standard tournament dubbed The Mother Lovin’ Cup (think Lord Stanley’s Cup or the World Cup) and inscribe/sharpie the winner’s name onto a foil Everflowing Chalice. We barely got through two rounds before we were politely — then much less politely — asked to leave. The group broke up and went its different ways but I found myself in a Penn Station coffee shop with Mike Flores, Lauren “Mulldrifting” Lee, Sean McKeown, Morgan Chang and a podcaster.
MisMocking Through Standard Part 4
We discussed the new format, the decks everyone played, and Mike and Lauren even battled for a few games with Mike’s All-American take on the popular blue-white control decks against Mulldrifting’s old-school Jund.

Link and Itunes seem to not work for part 4, eagerly await it !
Apparently @Mulldrifting went from recording this podcast to winning the Boston PTQ in 72 hours.
Now she owes cake
when you upload the parts to itunes in the future could you upload them in the opposite order that you do so now? as it right now in my podcasts the 1st part is on the bottom and the final part is on the top. so when i’m biking or cutting down trees or something i get some sort of disconnected play order. it’s like memento.
still lovin’ the show though!
thanks
Sean McKeown says the most idiotic things I have ever heard. I would ask if he ever tests, but he said himself that he doesn’t. He just makes outrageous claims even though he hasn’t even experienced success with his new Jund deck. It is an annoying mix of arrogance and ignorance that the podcast would be glad to no longer have as aside from Sean, it was very enjoyable.
I’ve been playing a variation of Sean’s deck (from what I could piece together). It is very good. Sean does come off as very arrogant, but his deck is excellent.
